The Waldmann episiotomy scissors were developed for precise and controlled performance of an episiotomy during childbirth. Thanks to its curved shape and a length of 18.0 cm, the scissors sit comfortably in the hand and allow targeted and safe incisions to be made in the perineum and back wall of the vagina. The blades are sharp, slightly curved and fitted with fine serrations (serration), ensuring a smooth and effective tissue incision.
